BACKGROUND


ACCO Brands is one of the world's top office product suppliers, with a large portfolio of well-known and much-loved brands including Leitz, Rexel, Kensington, and Nobo. The company's UK team required additional support with third-party media relations and in boosting support via B2B and B2C channels.


In celebration of their Rexel brand’s 80th birthday, ACCO UK turned to our team to conceive a strategic campaign highlighting the company’s British heritage. This involved creating an infographic, running a customer-focused competition and giveaways, and generating media attention.


HOW I HELPED


We began by conceiving and supporting the creation of an end-user-focused promotion that celebrated the ‘Best of British.’ As a brand with a strong British heritage itself, to celebrate Rexel’s birthday, customers who purchased the company’s products via ACCO’s trusted resellers during the promotional period could enter for a chance to win prizes from other distinctly British brands such as Burberry, Paul Smith, Twinings, Mulberry, Jo Malone London, Barbour, Hunter, and Fortnum & Mason.


To support the campaign, our team drafted editorial content for B2B press in the office products space, and created a supporting infographic for the campaign.


The promotion received thousands of prize entries throughout its period of eligibility and generated substantial sales revenue in Rexel products for ACCO UK and its reseller partners.
